Beautiful grounds, it's a wonderful place to see a show, whether it's the symphony, Prairie Home Companion, or any of the other shows that come through in the course of the year. It's a wonderful experience to be able to set up a beautiful picnic on the lawn outside of the shed, and listen to the symphony, or whatever performance they're having.
I went to my first concert at Tanglewood about 2 weeks ago and saw the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The grounds are beautiful old growth trees paths to walk on a beautiful lawn to sit on to watch the show the atmosphere is casual and fun. I had a great time and can't wait to go back
Bring your blankets, chairs, table, dinner sets, cheese platter, serving utensils, butler, etc. If you think that might be over doing it.. trust me someone will always think of something to bring that you didn't. It was an amazing atmosphere and outstanding music. I would definitely bring my butler again. 10/10
Overpriced but a nice way to spend the evening. Saw Bob Dylan and Mavis Staples and it was a good show. Parking was organized as was admission. Hope to continue to see big named artists preform. Nice place in the Berkshires.
Everyone loves Tanglewood as a music venue! We always picnic on the lawn for concerts. Bring food and drink, or buy it there. Plenty of options.
