Even after we upgraded, the room is quite small with a narrow bathroom with almost nowhere to put anything. The advertised "hot tub" is actually a jacuzzi, but barely large enough to sit in. The "king-sized bed" is two mattress pushed together. And the advertised nightclub is closed indefinitely.
The TV gets 6 channels and you have the best state of the art VCR to play videos!
The Village Inn is clean but not well maintained. The bathroom was very narrow. I'm tall. I could not sit on the toilet with my legs in front of me. Although it's functionally fairly well maintained, but the work looks do-it-yourself quality. We are not very experienced bed-and-breakfasts, this is our third stay ever in a bed-and-breakfast.

This place is the pits! Not pleasant on the nose! They don't vacuum the rooms, the bed linen is worn out as well as the towels! The box springs material was missing and you could see the stuffing, they had plywood to stiffen up the bed which was very uncomfortable,the wallpaper is dingy the windows filthy the blinds filthy and falling apart! The breakfast was pre cooked and on chafing pans, pancakes cold, no one on duty after 7pm at nigh,t good luck if you need something, mold in the showers and the Jacuzzi tub, no telling what lives there, the ice machine is in the cellar and the condition of that room ? This place is for sale and the owners don't want to fix anything or buy anything new, this place should not take your hard earned money, for the money they charge you can do a lot better!
Having said that, there were guests who appear to be annual lodgers there. Maybe we just had a poor room. The lesson we took away is that you get what you pay for. If you want to overnight at what we consider a decent place, be prepared to spend $250 a night or more with a two-night minimum.
The Village Inn is located right in the middle of beautiful Lennox and has wonderful decor. Tje owners were super friendly and showed us around. You can tell the place needs a little bit of repair, mostly with the fence on the side and the wifi Network but nothing removed from the charm.the food the next day was amazing!
We reserved and paid for two August nights in January 2017 for a weekend at Tanglewood. We were very disappointed and left after one night, Friday, forfeiting Saturday night's fee at the inn and the Saturday night concert (Beethoven's Symphony No. 7). We will never go back to the Village Inn.
